[ She's already there when Bobbi arrives, sipping at a cold soda that tastes mostly but not entirely like Coke, a pile of fries in front of her.

There was a burger. It's gone now. There will likely be another shortly.

Sharon lifts her hand and waves the other woman over. ]

Hey. Wonder who asked for this place to show up.

[mockingbirdy]

[Bobbi gives an order to the bot manning the place and slides across the booth. She got a couple burgers and fries and gives Sharon a big grin.]

I don't know but I feel like we might owe them a party or something in thank you. Why didn't we think of this?

Well, we've been a little distracted.

[ She puts in another order for herself -- bacon cheese, this time -- and winks over at Bobbi with her lips twitching into a grin. ]

I mean, archers.

Are you giving me shit, thirteen? [ She asks with a smile because well, she has been distracted but it's not entirely Clint's fault. Plus she knows that Sharon would never be distracted by him.]

What about you though, who is distracting you?

[daughterofliberty]

I thought that was obvious.

[ She laughs, while the bot brings their new orders, but picks at hers for a moment before she goes back to the soda, wishing it were a beer. ]

I met the Rogers that's here. Distracting is a good word for him.

[ Better than potentially evil, anyway, although she's not a hundred percent sold on that yet. ]

[Bobbi laughs and takes a drink of her soda she'd gotten before starting in on the fries. They're good fries but Bobbi likes most fries. Unless Clint who gave her shit for liking the fries at the diner. ]

I didn't get much of a beat on him when we were carrying very heavy rocks before we got separated. So do tell more.

I don't think he's HYDRA.

[ She folds one arm on the table top and rest an elbow there, too, then sets her chin in her hand as she watches Bobbi attack the food. ]

That's about as much as I'm willing to be sure of.

He said he grew up with Bucky Barnes. In Brooklyn, together.

[ Did that Bucky ever live in Indiana? What was it like for them to be the same age, instead of Bucky a teenaged sidekick at Steve's side during the war? ]

Well, not being a fascist dictator is a step in the right direction. [Bobbi considers that, and the fact that it means maybe there's a chance this isn't related to cosmic cube fragments which is another one.]

Interesting, Clint said something about Bucky being different. I only had the briefest of network conversations with him.

Right? It's a low bar to clear, but a good one.

[ She selects a fry and waves it at Bobbi, thoughtful. ]

I haven't talked to him at all. Haven't even seen him. What did Clint say?

[mockingbirdy]

[Bobbi weighs the conversation with Clint and how much she wants to share with Sharon. It's not because she thinks any of it is particularly needed to be guarded but because Clint is sensitive and talking about something with him for once had gone well. ]

He said he met Natasha from that other world. She told him that over there he was a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent to which I say, they must have really been suffering for recruits. [Okay the last part is only a bit of a joke but she can't help it.]

Wait, there's a Nat here now, too?

[ She frowns, trying to follow. ]

And their Bucky's an agent of SHIELD?

[mockingbirdy]

Worse. [She huffs out a laugh picking up a burger to take a bit shaking her head. It was obvious how she said that had been confusing.]

Their Clint is.

Okay, but what did he say about Bucky?

[ Bobbi focus! ]

[mockingbirdy]

Not much. Just that he'd met him. I don't typically interrogate Clint. [Most of the time anyways.]

You know you should be able to ask him questions without it being an interrogation, right? Or are two-way mirrors and handcuffs involved?

[ ... ]

Never mind, I don't want to know.

It's complicated. [She takes a big bite of her burger and shrugs.]

We were dealing with some other crap when it came up anyways. Like the fact that he was processing some other Natasha.

When is it not complicated with you guys?

[ Look they've all seen the network conversations! ]

You think they're all from the same other universe?

[The desire to be defensive is there because well, she gets defensive with anyone about Clint. But also she knows it's a true statement so she let's it slide.]

There's a bunch of us right? Why wouldn't there be a bunch of them?

Statistics, mostly. Infinite universes should mean infinite versions, not two.

That it isn't working that way... well. It makes me curious.

[ Finally, she picks up her own burger, arching her eyebrows at Bobbi over it. ]

You're the scientist. What do you think?

[She frowns at that. Sharon's right in that she should be thinking about it better. However a bit too much of it has spent dealing with PTSD from being kidnaped for a second time in her life by an alien species. ]

I met Quake in the maze. She didn't know Clint. I'd assume that if we figure out if Natasha and Daisy know each other it would be the easiest way to confirm if they're from the same world for sure.

[ Sharon hums, speculative, tapping her finger on her burger. ]

You, me, Clint, Kate, a handful of X-Men from our world...

Steve, Bucky, Nat, Quake, and who knows who else from the other.

[ Listing it out... doesn't help. It's still fucking weird. ]

Yeah, I got nothing.

[ But speaking of Clint (again): she puts down her burger and folds her arms on the table, looking over at Bobbi. ]

Hey... sorry, by the way. About that thing I said about Clint and shapeshifters, in the maze. I forgot. I'm an ass.

Doreen too. [She adds, she'd run into her recently as well but then she shakes her head and gives her a serious look.]

Don't worry about it. It's not like we didn't all fucking deal with the skrull bullshit. [Which is true, they all dealt with the invasion, some even were captured for a bit too, but no one nearly as long as Bobbi. She doesn't hold it against people though, not really. It's just a fact of life.]
